Very nice design, but it doesn't scream "flagship cruiser" to me. It looks more like a scout/reconnaissance vessel, what with the nimble design and that big sensor package on top similar to the Nebula class.

I like the teal colouring and the fact that it is a UFP (Science) and not a Starfleet vessel. There is really excellent detail there given its like 9k x 2k ! And are they photon cannons I am seeing, extended from hatch like recesses above the top most phaser array? I like it!

Yeah. Looks more like a high-tier Oberth. I mean it does look great, but flagship? No.

Ah, him! He's a good technical artist. I like a lot of his work! His Ent-F contest entry is here.

My only criticism of his design is that it's far too similar to the Sovereign, and nothing to suggest 40 years of design evolution from 2370-2409.

I do, however, really wish DJ Curtis was an American (I believe he's Canadian, thus couldn't enter) so he could have entered his Century class.

I was thinking a good looking science vessel like the nebula which it has nuances of

It's the Great-Grandson, who's a Football/Soccer Player, of the Oberth.
