A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally
I do like the idea that these special hybrid weapons can inflict the proc for either type. Now, does this mean a 2.5% chance of getting a proc at all, with 50% of the time it is Phaser proc and 50% of the time it is Disruptor proc, or is it separate 2.5% chance of Phaser and Disruptor, or what?
good question. a slightly unique weapon effect for those hybrids would be nice too. what would be really cool is if the romulan npc's had their weapon changed to these plasma disrupters, their disruptors always had a different hue to them then the bright green klingon disrupter, this would be a great chance to capture that in game.
also, those polarized tetryon weapons could be used as the breen's weapon, makes more sense then them using off the shelf dominion poloron weapons
some npc faction should be using the player use plasma weapons, currently none do. i nominate the gorn, they are heavy plasma users in star trek games in the past.
Out of curiosity, which tactical consoles improve the damage of the Hybrid Weapons? Phaser? Disruptor? (Plasma)? Or do you have to use the Directed Energy ones to see an increase?
ETA: I just checked the weapons on Tribble, they are listed as Plasma-Disruptor weapons. This leads me to assume the Phaser listed in the patch notes is a typo. Also, the cannons are listed as doing Plasma damage and the beams are listed as doing Disruptor damage. So, again assuming that the info in game is correct you don't want to have both the beams and the cannons (like on a lot of escort builds) because you then HAVE to use the less effective Directed Energy consoles.
Still single-proc, still plasma orientated.
This +75% Accuracy buff though. <.=.< You can leave that there.
To answer the question though, the damage is tied into the actual display damage. So, in case of the P-D.DHC as it stands.. You would use a plasma console. And, as I haven't yet been able repeat the quest to get one, I would assume, disruptor console for the P-D.SBA looking at the reward tooltip.
You all are so sweet. Zero (the dog) is fine, he's just not mine anymore. While that's sad for me, it's better for him. It was great to be able to bring him to work with me, but he just had WAY too much energy to lay around all day.
I'll look into that plasma/phaser cannon thing. I'll admit that these patch notes were a little more rushed than usual because I was so eager to get this build up on Tribble as soon as I could.
