Another 'different' approach. My female gorn ship/hologram had her being implanted into a recently dead Gorn borg drone. Mirmulnir also had his body upgraded with a borg cybernetic network so she wouldn't feel weird. it in turn helps him by letting him integrate with his Kits better, as well as give him the borg augmented strength, speed, eyesight all in special implants made by the KDF. If you need an example, imagine the Biotics from Mass effect, only replace it with borg tech.
It shows how indecisive my captain can be, how stubborn and temperamental he can be, his mannerisms very much mirror my own.
This also plays off his backstory, as he mucks up a great many things that don't involve tactics, and the connection he shares to his senior staff, whom he has served with for a long time.
I have intentionally left a great many holes in the details of what happens on the surface, to signify some sort of event occuring that is not to be disclosed for some reason (the exact reason I know, but to disclose it is to break it, thus making it unsuitable. Choose your own reason )

Yours I enjoyed. Always like a little mysterious conspiracy.
My captian in this has just come fresh off of the betreyal of his Second officer who was found out to be Section 31. I didn't put a lot into the story because I'm Reflecting how my captians state of mind is. This one while it is diffcult to understand has Kligons in it.
