I try it often and never get a hit on an enemy because they kill me too fast . Or i do it too early and had enouth time to heal and had the chance to survive but die in my own selfdestruction.

another good one is photonic officer. i havnt tested tested it since patch, but it has always been underwhelming to me.

The most it can do is bring things down to their GCD... and it takes up LtC/Cmdr slots. lolfail.

i kinda made PO3 work with a tac captain in the recon sci. to bounce off tac initiative.

i know you love your attack sci ships....that was my version. put out very decent dps and spiked when needed with BO2. healed like a madman with ST3x2, TSS2x2, HE1x2.

but we all know what happens to tacs in sci ships and cruisers.

All the folks that told me it was a must have in a escort with cannons. All I get is 29 per pulse at 125 weapon power and fully specced into it. For that little damage I would rather run EWP at least it has a slow.
