Is it only that 1 variant for the cruiser? Im big about spending an hour getting my ship looking just the way I want it every time I get a new ship. Will we be able to change around the Saucer/Hull/Pylons etc.? Thanks

As far as we know the free version only has 1 variant. There will be a C-Store version later that will, presumably, have a different look which you can mix and match to the base version.

For the time being, I believe it will be the one skin. I do think they said they will introduce variants in the future.

Is the C-Store Odyssey going to be a ship too or is it just going to be costume variants for this upcoming, free one?

It will be a ship too, but a +1 version like the Venture is a +1 version of the Galaxy.

It is curious, because in also playing Klink - there's not a lot of customization there (yep, a pet peeve of sorts). It will be interesting if they sell additional skins for the ship (as we see for some of the ships, rather than having to buy the +1 ship and have the option from there).
