This is defintiely really awesome news!

I've met pretty much all of 'em except for Wil Wheaton, Gates McFadden and Sir Patrick Stewart, but it'd be really cool to go to not only be able to meet those three, but also to see if the others remembered meeting me from before.

I hope anyone who is lucky enough to go has a fantastic time!

I may have to hassle my friends until one of them gives me a ride down to Calgary. Or I suppose I could take the bus down.

Buying my 3 day pass to this event today, it's only a 2 1/2 hr drive south, just have to get a hotel room, but that's easy. Looking forward to meeting Wheaton and Stewart. McFadden would be cool, I remember seeing Sirtis when she came to edmonton back in 94 or 95. Hope to meet some STO players as well.

I nearly exploded when I got the e-mail about it last night. Nothing will stop me from going! I went last year. Got photos with Shatner & Frakes. Frakes was a really nice guy and polite. Shatner just stared down my girlfriend's shirt. That was OK though, I figured for for the $75 I spent for the whole 10 seconds I saw him I'd put my arm around him whether he liked it or not haha.

Yeah us GB folk will have to standby and turn green with envy. Kinda like the away team that can't beam back when the action is up on the ship.

We can always sit here shouting "yeah well Sir Patrick is English y'know" across the Atlantic whilst trying to hide the bitterness in our voice

Could someone give them a Yukon brochure for me. They would just be a hop-skip and a jump and one quick flight to the Klondike, which was one of the worlds final frontiers
