# 1 Hargh'peng Torpedo Launchers

To anyone who may offer me with advice or thoughts on a problem I am having.

I have fallen in love with the Hargh'peng Launcher but for some reason it will not work with Torpedo Spread or High Yield. Is this the way the launcher is designed or is it a bug?

I just want to get the general feeling about it.

It does not work with the high yield or torpedo spread skills. its designed that way on purpose. Makes a good torpedo for a ship without any torpedo skills.

i used hargh peng for a while but you cant beat quantums i think

Teh Har'pen has some special attributes that make up for the lack of Torpedo skills. The first is the that is does a great deal of damage The second is the initial explosion is an Aread of Effect . The third effect is a minor damage over time effect. And then the 4th thing is a secondary high damage explosion which damage the hull directly which is an Area of Effect as well.

Baically you got a cross between Torpedo High Yield and Torpedo Spread w/o having to have those Tactical Abilities.

Yes, it states that in the info if you look.

Funny thing, it does 10,000 damage to the Doomsday Machine but you get it as the reward AFTER destroying it in the mission. Are we going to encounter this menace a lot more?

well one would think if you replay the mission again you get to do 10k damage to it :p

In that mission, you fly a Klingon ship that is equipped with that torpedo launcher. You uncover the plot and another Klingon helps you, then they arm that ship with the torpedo so you can fly in and out with a ship that has great turning. Otherwise you would probably die a lot..lol.

I been wondering, does the radiation DoT stack like plasma fires thus worth getting two for my cruiser or am I better off with two different torps?

Just so you know, the Har'pengs have a 10 second global cooldown. So you won't get that much stacking. But getting two for Cruiser isn't too bad a loadout. Depending on who I'm fighting I'll use 4x Quauntum or 2x Har'pengs and 2x Quauntums.
