I'm at the beginning of the new featured episode, where you're on DS9, and the issue appears to be present here as well when my sound card's control panel is set to 8 audio channels.

Myself and another member of my Fleet have the same Headset Logitech g930 and we both are having the same buzzing /grinding issue @ DS9 . External speakers work fine only happens on the promenade . I have seen other threads just like this one the same issue with other USB headsets . Razer ,Sony ,Logitech ..

I think it's time Cryptic look into this or players may not go to DS9 due to the grinding/buzzing sounds of DS9

And before you ask YES a bug report was submitted

Agree : with others that have posted before me on this issue , could be a patch during the first week of February it seems like that's when it started to come around ; could be a small coding issue around the sounds of the Promenade of DS9 , but I'll leave to the Dev experts

anybody else ?

Hope they get this fixed fast ..

With zero dev updates, tons of information posted, and no resolution in hand. I abandon my post.

Dude chill. On page 2 JTFrost commented saying they are trying to track down the issue. Its just a matter of time. Be patient.

In the meantime, as a workaround, you can fix the issue by switching your headsets or monitoring systems from a 7.1 surround setting, to a 5.1 or stereo setting.

Finally, it would be helpful to the audio team to let them know if this problem is occurring anywhere else in-game. If you do happen to encounter this problem, please respond to this thread with the name of the location you are at, including the map name if possible.

This is from the topic I started before I knew about this topic. Many thanks to the teams that worked on this and to the devs that supported and informed us.
