# 1 Weapon stacking exploit
02-02-2012, 05:53 AM
I'm just wondering if this bug's going to be fixed soon. You see, the shows never depicted ships firing more than 1 phaser array at an enemy, yet I see multiple beam weapons coming from fed ships all the time.

This one galaxy class that totally owned me in 2 seconds was firing 3 phaser beams from one point in his ship.

This is obviously not intended, and though I'm not going to name names due to the naming and shaming rule, I think it's clear who these fed exploiters are.

I urge cryptic to look into this matter, because klingon BoPs are getting pwned left and right in matches where feds exploit by firing more than 1 weapon at a time.

Thanks for your time and good work on STO content,

I thought FaW did that. But if it is an exploit it would be nice if it could be duplicated with cannons. OF course for research purposes only

In TOS the Enterprise sometimes shot 2 beams at once.

That explains a lot. I have seen several premades who claim to play "clean" use this!

I had this other Federale in my sights only to have him evade my killing blow by suddenly speeding up and turning on a dime... IN A CRUISER! He kept going on about "using Invasive Maneuvers" or something. Total exploit!!!one!!!! I've never seen Kirk or Picard use an Invasive Maneuver.
