# 1 How do consoles stack?

If I have several types of the same console, how do they stack? For example, an armor console might give say +10. Do two then give +20?

They stack, but in a manner in which most people consider to be diminishing returns.

Thanks for the formula. What does "MAG" mean?

And what about other consoles?

There is at least one exception of a console that does not stack.

The FIELD GENERATOR that adds +35% hit points to your shields does not stack, so don't waste resources on two of them,

What about the one that increases regeneration rate?

I believe that these do stack now i'd need to check though to be sure i'll post my findings later as i'm pretty sure i have 2 slotted in on my escort.

They stack, but it was unintentional. I would expect that to be changed back to the way it was before at some point in the near future.
