I suspect this is one of those YMMV things.

Sure I do, but this hardly qualifies. We're all aware of what it is; we're not Pavlov's dog.

Let me get this straight. (sometimes you have to keep it simple for us slow ones). You expect me, to play up to LVL 40 (Rear Admiral or Brigadier General rank (Level 40)) to obtain a Tier 3 ship?? Which only has different weapons (didn't say the power made much of a difference), smaller than other cruisers the same size, just as slow, AND a ship that honestly isn't on the top of many player's wish list. (it is for me, but not many others), At level 40, players of both factions have greater ships and will prefer them over this Galor.

You sir, want to charge me $25 for what many would consider an inferior ship?

IF this was meant for Captains and cost the same as other ships of its type...fine, but the price you're wanting is more expensive than ships only playable for Vice Admiral.

Do you really think players will choose this Galor (Rear Admiral) over the Vor'Kang (CPT) lvl? the Galor only has 4,500 hull points more and other stats are same. The Vor'Kang can also cloak.

The Federation Exploration Cruiser Retrofit is even cheaper than that $25 you recommend. I don't see that happening.

The Multi-Vector Advanced Escort cheaper and is also a Vice Admiral.

Place in the C-Store if you want (I'd buy it no matter the cost (well there are limits), but with a ship that falls between a Captain level and an Admiral level shouldn't cost more than the fanciest ships.

That being said if it were that each faction had secret facilities that were constructing special ships only meant for war against the 2800.

The federation and klingon ones due to their in the heat of the moment on the spot designs and planning for them they were laying dormant for 40 years until the need for resources came and they were absorbed into new plans for the odyssey and bortas which being the state of the alpha quadrant as it is there was little time to realize that these designs even with the current technology were so flawed that only an engineering captain could compensate for the imminent destruction that would occur in battle if these ships were to be used.
According to the Path to 2409:

Quote:
"In addition to working to curb the rising hostilities between the Klingons and the Gorn, Federation diplomats were hard at work crafting a new pact between the Federation and the Cardassians.

On Stardate 63976.74, the Cardassians signed a new treaty, in which they agreed not to field a military or wage war. In exchange, the Federation agreed to provide aid to rebuild Cardassian cities and military protection in the event of an invasion of Cardassian space.

In response to the landmark agreement, the Bajoran coalition dropped its request to prosecute Cardassians for war crimes. Many among the Bajorans and Cardassians hoped that relations between their worlds would someday be normalized.".
So, what happened to all of their military equipment? I assume Starfleet decommissioned them and sent them some place like Surplus Depot Z15 at Qualor II. You could have had Type-1 or 2 Galor's in the c-store but had the more powerful Type-3's drop in the grab bag.

There are several things wrong with this post:

One, the Galor, as presented, is not an inferior ship. It is a T5 ships with possibly the best stats you could ever hope for in a cruiser.
Two: The Galaxy X is the name people have used for years to refer to the AGT Galaxy that has 3 Nacelles and a Phaser Lance.
Three: Given that the Galor will be an Ultra Rare, Cryptic will likely see the same profit per Galor as it did the Jem'Hadar ship: 20,000 CP.

Even if the ship were $10, it wouldn't flood the galaxy with Galors. 96% of the players at that level have already found their dream ships with ultimate power. The Galor really doesn't have the pretty bells and whistles that would attract Admirals to spend much time with a Galor. The Galor is really for the True Cardassian fan, that would pretty much be the only ones playing with the ship...and at Admiral that would still be a tough sell.

You obviously don't play cruisers. The Galor is Hands Down the best T5 Cruiser the Federation can get (and as much as I hate to say, I foresee myself trying to get it one way or another) . It also offers very strong competition to Vor'Cha Refit (I might even say too strong).

I pray they dont do anything like this for a Romulan Warbird. I would rather wait for a faction. I would rather have a faction. After Nemesis the Romulan empire was moving closer to the Federation.

Cryptic dont you dare try anything like this with a Romulan Warbird. Just put it in the C store for like 10K C points. Not many will pay that much. Thats $120.

Serious question here, if the devs are reading this far into the thread: Will the lockboxes stack in inventory?

Eh, not really. Donatra was all nice to Picard and co. because her butt was on the line too (and probably saw a coup opportunity by defeating Shinzon). I'd like to believe, I'd want to believe the Romulans would have entered into a long term, stable alliance with the Federation and Klingons, but they're too shifty and xenophobic to do that.
