There's pretty much no going back from this P2W console change.

Balance is officially out the window and the demise of PvP has all but been officially endorsed.

So can I expect to see everyone moving onto TOR?

Thankfully I've only got 1 more week left before I'm unable to play due to work for a few months. I'm hoping this last week will be good, because I expect no one to still be here when I come back in May.

wait, there is PvP in STO?! SINCE WHEN?! (joking, joking)

since i dont PvP much outside of interfleet fun and games when we do, how will this upset the balance? not being a smartass, i actually would like to know- its part of the game mechanics i dont understand. i would think this would be a marginally good thing because of the different things you can do now. but, again, thats why im asking the question.

Here's one example:

Jam Sensors is fragile, right? So if an Escort keeps shooting you after they Jam you, you can see them again. Not anymore! Now they can AMS you so you can't see them AND Scramble you at the same time. As an added bonus, no one else can see them either and they can hide some of their allies as well.

I think it may be getting close (very close) to the point where we need to say no c-store consoles in arenas, period (Gentlemans agreement Mk II)?

I'm all for it. Would this include the ones restricted to ship class, too? I mean, I'm okay with giving up my Ablative Armor and Multi-Vector Assault Mode if needed, but one could make a good case for keeping Cloak.

Until they actually put in 10 level brackets for TOR pvp. I won't be returning.

I will just go back to RIFT where the devs aren't on mysterious futuristic drugs.
