I like how people always say they had a year... if you actually would have been here by the atari/Pwe pruchase drama you would know that for pretty much more then half a year there was next to no progress...

Because the roms have no leader... they are dead or missing and they have a affinity for the borg anyway.

I'm agreed with these bits - it was pretty epic feeling, I loved that we got a genuine cliffhanger as well which was pretty exciting.

My only minor issue? I felt like the Defiant was missing from the final space battle, it just felt a touch odd, that a and the USS Belfast was armed with beam arrays

Still Star Trek Online story telling at some of it's best. Well done to Kestrel and team.

I'll be honest, all these bugs really did hurt the overall success of this mission. I myself ran into too tons of them that almost had me ripping my hair out. Spent most of the day on one character, trying to complete the mission.

The Story: Was good, but could've been done better. It was just too rushed after the conference.

The Conference Room: The Art Team did a really great job in making it as canonical as possible, except they forgot to add the lit table tops.

Also, as Q pointed out on the other thread, the Conference Room is in the Docking ring, so why are we in the middle of the Promenade fighting our way to the Docking Ring to escape?

You guys really got to keep archtitecture in mind with these missions. And the turbolift doesn't take you there.

Voice Acting: In a way it was a nice touch and wasn't too shabby. But I do question the dialogue, like when the Andorian goes "and then we will develop new weapons". That seemed out of place. And the Gorn's dialogue was really more fitting of a Klingon, the Gorn only been part of the Empire for a short time, so it doesn't make sense.

The Space Battle: Q nicely put it on the other thread that we should've been escorting the escapees similar like we did with the escape from Hotep. Not "Hop to Circle, Save X"

And finally, the "Warp to Bajor". This really annoyed me canonically. Because THIS Is Bajor.

Bajor is a Earth-like world, you know, with blue oceans and white clouds. Not that gloomy-looking world we have in STO. In my UGC Contest entry, my mission was based on Bajor and I used the proper planet model. So you guys should do it as well.

Now, if I try to ignore all these very annoying bugs, I will honestly give the mission a B. B+ at best.

Except that they HAVE had a year to do it. Didn't stop them from doing that god awful ground update or the doff system. You can't blame there being no progress on the purchasing of the company. People are still supposed to work when thats going on.

It was too short, had bad VO's, and was buggy as hell. Theres no excuse for that given the amount of time they had between FE's

I gave it a B- except it actually gets a D in its present state since my enjoyment of the mission was totally ruined by the DS9 sound bug. Inexcusable.

You don't like Shooter Mode and the Doff system? I think they're great, both gameplay-wise and immersion-wise. That said, there are literally thousands of Foundry missions to play. If you're not taking advantage of that, that's your own fault. Most of them are way better than Cryptic's missions (at least, better than the older ones that haven't been remastered yet).

On the mission: I agree it was a bit too short. The VOs were pretty good IMO. There were several bugs, but none of the ones I experienced were that serious. I'll play it again today for a second look.

Folks are complaining about the voice overs? I suppose those are the ones that never played TOR. I think the VO acting in this Episode was pretty good comapred to some of the stuff I have heard in my day.

I liked the story, and the space action was excellent. I did manage to die a few times in my Oddyssey, which is odd considering I did quite well in my Bortas with my loadouts and crew very similarly done.

This happened during the initial launch from DS9 where you have to destroy the ships and get clear prior to defending the other ships. Somehow, I ticked off all of the battle cruisers and the dreadnought. When you die, the respawn point is right back on top of DS9. With all of those ships still sitting there, so they immediately aggro you again and you end up getting blown up.

By the way, I thought that Loriss was HAWT. I can see me doing other things than punching her ;-)

That comment about Loriss almost made me forgot.

Notice she's wearing some of the same off-duty clothing (guess the Dominion likes Alpha Quadrant fashion). Just wondering when we will get to see new clothing design?

They don't have an affinity for the borg. They do not want to be assimilated. They just want to use the tech to get a leg up. Which is playing with fire. Like moths to a flame and all that.

They have an affinity for the Iconians though.
