Someone on the STF channel pointed this little interesting thing about the new Featured Event.......

Where was D'Vak?

He's stationed on DS9 and commanding the combined Klingon and Federation efforts against the Borg, he wasn't at the conference, nor did we see him fighting the Jem'Haddar. But he was there before the meeting?

So where did he go?

And where was the Defiant? We know Kurland was heading to the ship, but I don't recall seeing it during the battle. Did he warp out?

Isn't it canon to have plot holes the size of Voyagers shuttlebay?

I did wonder why that room full of combat specialists had gone missing so to speak. (D'vak and company)

As for the Defiant. Eh... Probably got stuck in the upper docking pylon of DS9 and was never heard from again.
(or re-sized with DS9 and was never heard from again)

D'vak could have been off fighting the borg during that time. i guess he does not spend all his time in the office eyeing up roxy.

they mentioned at the very end that the defiant was taking the last of the people, so that must have been left till last (although you never see it)

People in command of not 1, not 2 but 3 destinct brances of forces do not have time to go into battle... Trust me on this.

He did what any klingon would have done... He yelled "HONOR" and ran.

He's in the store when you're running around doing errands.

As for the Defiant, be nice if they actually had it docked and you could see it. Surely they could make it a non attackable target so it could pull off that illusion.

Most of DS9's interior was sealed off during the battle. He could have been present in one of the other sections.

Well the explanation that D'Vak isnt there because he is leading an attack against the Borg during the Dominions attack on DS9 WOULD work if he wouldnt stand right there during the Mission on the Promenade.
May be he left just when the talks startet?

Would have been a nice continuity thing to have him there during the talks since that this allience falls directly into his working-area.
And he MIGHT have had some answers for that Gorn-a**hole.

And the Defaint during the battle.... well... shes probably in another instance....

Actually I found that the MACO/Omega weapons werent that effective against the Jem'Hadar of the 24'th century, so I am fairly convince that he hid untill he could make his getaway like any other klingon would have done...

That still dosent explain why the MACO and Omega forces ran though.

I think it's quite simple why D'Vak didn't participate in any kind.
When the plot for this episode was written, D'Vak was still on the U.S.S. Victory in Gamma Orionis as a simple captain and quest giver for the pre season 5 STF's and not that big badazz Omega Force Leader he is now.
Cryptic just doesn't want to make the effort to bring him to this story, because they think most of us wouldn't mention that anyway.

IMHO it is really ridiculous, that the leader of the Omega Force, which was designed to face the Borg threat is not participating in such an important conference.
