# 1 Venture skin for Nebula?
02-13-2012, 08:14 AM
I still want a Venture-style skin for my Nebula...

I vaguely recall that this was stated as 'planned' at some point? Any updates on this? Shouldn't this be a fairly straight-forward addition?

The "Nebula" skin has the trapezoid module, the "Magellan" has a somewhat different module.
What would you call the Venture-based skin and what would its module look like?

Simply call it Venture and the pod would be oblong.
Something smooth in any case... Oh whats it called again... Phoenix? Think that was the name of the Nebula with a disc shaped pod. Something like that. (could also call the skin Phoenix but that might cause problems with the Advanced Escort skin. Confusion and all that.)

I've been hoping for this even since the Venture was first shown. You must make a Venture skin for the Nebula as soon as you have time, CaptLogan! I'd rather not have to whine at your higher ups to convince them to let you work on it, unless I absolutely have to.

Or maybe a more pointed, but overall smoother and thinner look? Sort of like what they did with the Nacelles?

Could work, could work.
As long as it's sleek and smooth.

I don't think it was "planned" so much as something CapnLogan hoped he'd have time for.

These are the appropriate posts by the Capn:

I really want it too :<
And it shouldn't be as much work as a completely new ship either, since many parts of the Venture can almost be left as they are. Just the Sensor Pod would be entirely new.

Pweez, I want this!
