Make sure you put your author info in the other thread then. It says only missions within that thread will be able to be part of the contest.
Good to see other Klingon missions though. Notice how they gave a planet that can't even be used on the Klingon side in the Foundry...
Yeah, I'll post the info when I have finished the mission. And I got around the "no door to Risa" problem by just having the player meet up with a Federation escort in one of the systems that does have a "door" on the KDF side.
remember if you have a mission in the works, you need to post your mission info in the other thread in the next couple of days. if you dont then they wont be eligible for the challenge if you are too late.
Done. It took me most of the afternoon, but I was finally able to finish putting it together. I'll do a quick polish run through tomorrow. I'm otherwise happy with my results.
Think it would be okay to publish tonight before one goes to bed?
I was thinking the same thing. I don't think it would hurt, but I would like some clarification from our fearless leader. I'll hit up BranFlakes on twitter and see if he can clarify for us.

Starting on Wednesday, March 7th, at 10AM PST, the playthrough and review stages will begin. Only entries made in this thread prior to 10AM on that Wednesday will be eligible to participate in the challenge.
There's still over a day before you should publish
After all, publishing only takes 5 mins and once you click, it does it by itself, you can leave the game and it still publishes
Looks like 11 missions are going to be entering the competition, unless there's some last minute people out there who haven't put in their mission info into the official contest thread.

Like I said on Twitter, if I pushed it at 12 tonight, then it would technically be Wednesday morning. All I'm looking for is a "DO NOT POST BEFORE XX:XX BUT NO LATER THAN XX:XX" Wednesday morning is a bit vague.
So I've run into something that I didn't think was going to be an issue, but it may turn out to be one. I wanted to test my mission, more specifically the wander of my NPCs to make sure they weren't doing anything crazy, so I did a test publish of my mission several days ago. I played through it and consequently found a huge error with an object not triggering properly (oddly enough the NPC wander was perfect). My mission was only published for maybe an hour before I took it back down.
However, it appears that someone actually played the mission and gave it a rating. >.< They didn't leave any feedback, but a rating was given. I hope this does not disqualify me from the competition, but I understand if it does. In the future, I think this sort of thing should be addressed since I think every Foundry author here will attempt a test publish to ensure the mission is working properly.
