Missing additional character slot for current/ lapsed Gold Members
Might the Bajoran Vedek and Dominion War Admiral costumes make their way into the Gold-Press Latinum store?
At a minimum, might any of the components from this bundle be sold separately in the C-Store? For the player who may only want the bridge. Or who may only want one of the costumes but not the other.
See, now, this is cool to me. I don't have a big problem with it, this is what the C-Store should be for. The weapons.. well, I doubt they're as good as what drops, so I'm okay with them. The shuttle.. errrrrrr... well... I'm mostly okay with it, because, it's just a shuttle, it's not going to win anyone any battles. The interior is still f'huge, though. :p
I'm a bit torn, all in all. 1800CPs is a good chunk of change. On the other hand, that's some good stuff in there and I want to tell Cryptic that this is the sort of thing I'm cool with being in the C-Store. On the gripping hand, it's still sort of double-dipping us. Further, the big selling point of the package is the Belfast bridge... which is still huge.
I have a feeling the bridge isn't as big as it appears in this screen shot. I think they elongated the image to show more of the bridge. Sort of like the fishbowl camera lens? /shrugs.
I can't support this. nor can I think too highly of a company that puts out an absurdly bad set of defiant bridges (none of which were even remotely accurate) for cash then puts out the accurate one for over $20. poor business ethics to say the least.
weapons in the cstore? shouldn't be there at all, regardless of how strong or weak they may be. it sets a precedent.
can't support anybody selling uniforms for that price either. not after seeing the formerly FREE wrath of khan one suddenly costing hundreds of points. that speaks volumes.
and the doffs in the pack? if they're unique then they shouldn't be in any paid pack. they should be mission/doff system rewards. if they're not unique then they have no business being in a pack that costs over $20.

Note: Unlocking this bundle unlocks these items for all Federation characters on an account. Klingon Empire characters on the account may claim the Duty Officers, the Bajoran Pistol and the Bajoran Phaser Rifle.
so, if you're strictly a klingon player, you can unlock that for....$22 or so? if anybody thought that is reasonable they're either nuts or very unethical
Yeah, I'd also like to know if these DOffs are unique to this pack or not... There's supposed to be a DS9 DOff pack comng eventually, and if these DOffs are available there as well, not really worth the $20 to me (as DOffs are the only thing I care about here, though the rest of the stuff is nice )
If they are unique to this pack, please let us know...
Appears to use the same scaling as the standard Defiant bridge.
On the other hand, nice details.
And... as an aside... I just realized that this uses canon color schemes. So how does someone get the bridge used at the login screen? Y'Know, replica Defiant interior with canon LCARS in blue.
I think we need more consistent decisions with regards to interiors. For instance, canon LCARS or LCARS customization of some kind. It's weird to have a bridge at the login screen that mixes the canon LCARS with the new style color schemes in a way that isn't possible in-game.
I dunno. I kinda feel as though if they're going to advertise the color LCARS at the Login screen, it's time to shift over all Starfleet facilities back to color LCARS. (Which, interestingly, we also have at DS9.)
However, I'd also love it if we had a "computer core" slot on our ships and the item we dropped in there changed all computer displays, not just between color LCARS variants but allowed things like Cardassian displays, etc. And had some kind innate passive modifier to any ship.
I can't support this. nor can I think too highly of a company that puts out an absurdly bad set of defiant bridges (none of which were even remotely accurate) for cash then puts out the accurate one for over $20. poor business ethics to say the least.
Except that those were just bridges. This here is a bridge plus an entire interior modelled after the one from the show. It's also scaled much better.
We also get a shuttle, some nice Doffs, uniforms and weapons. 1800 cpoints is fine. Get over it.

No it doesn't. We already have melee weapons, consoles and ship weapons in the c-store
