She didn't really say they were green only responding "I was just thinking they weren't green enough". They could blue with a slightly more green shade and it would fit that description. Or the way it's said (though I realize it's not really the intent) it could be stretched to mean she's just partial to green and would prefer it to be greener.

Either way I think sticking with it as it looked in it's multiple appearances would be better than a single line that could be interpreted different ways.

Well... *nitpicking on* I guess you mean "official recordet dialogue from the series is canon, opposed to ater release artbooks wich are not canon at all" I'd agree.

For the green oceans... well may be that is more a matter of perspective... I've seen some oceans on this planet and to be honest, outside of relativy rare weather conditions they do not look BLUE on earth.
The green oceans might look green... basicly from Bajors cost caused by weather conditions.
Or may be they just look green in SOME PLACES, caused by the plant life on THAT places.

I do not have the exact dialog in mind, but the mentioning of green oceans on Bajore does neigther mean they are green ALL over Bajor nor (since their oceans consist of WATER after all, or am I wrong?) that they look green from space.

And If they did.... Bajor would look like Quo'nos.... sorry, thats not directly the most beautyfull planet in the universe.

Well the Mat Back drop that can only be seen from the roof tops of our current Bajor map, and thus taking the building ques from the Dahkur Province. and seems to take a lot from Season 5 Episode 10 : Rapture.

Prime example would be in inclusion of the Bantaca spire. and the large water fall and reflecting pools ( possibly a overflow for the local aqueduct system. anyways. the Bantaca spires where found in ancient Bajoran cities, sure we could be in one. but I'm not to sure how old Hathon really is.. the inclusion of the Bantaca spire could be a return to the old ways by newer cities but than again, it feels off.

My Bajoran is rusty so I can't translate the exact location the in game spire says Hathon is located at. but from what I know of Hathon is it was more a farming community and less a urban center. of course things could of changed over the past three decades. but like with a lot of the universe in game it seems we stopped moving forward just after Star Trek Nemesis, kind of like the Federation and the universe rested on its laurels
and now we're playing catch up. we're very much still in a TNG-Movie Era when it comes to the feel of the game. When will we make that leap forward like was made between the end of the TOS era and the start of the TNG era.

from what I understand Bajor's waters look green from orbit due to a slight green hue to they're atmosphere, most likely likely caused by a slightly higher level of a noble gas such as Radon and other charged partials that would cause the hue. but I could be wrong.

Yeah, maybe the water near where Kira grew up was more green even and so that's what she was thinking about... Like above even some water here can be pretty green in places...

If you talk to the civilian chilling on a bench, she says she likes to come look at the big tree in front of her because her great (however many times) grandfather planted it when the city was founded. So no older than the tree - and just a few generations old (although Bajorans are apparently long lived, so who knows how accurate you may be there http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Els_Renora).

The only true rule of canon for ST is this: Whoever is writing whatever version(s) of ST is (are) currently active sets the current canon until someone after them changes it.

WTH, how did I get on this rant? *looks at Taco and shakes fist*
This is true, I mean seriously, how many alternate timelines did Capt. Janeway (or her crew) create or destroy in Star Trek Voyager? (Year of Hell and Endgame come to mind specifically)
