I use the Automated Defense turret that I got with the deluxe edition; it gives me an early warning to star moving faster away from the Cube, but not everyone has one. I feel really bad when I get in a group and have to watch all those poor souls being destroyed by invisible heavy torps.

The only thing to do is fly above the cube where it can’t target you with them; but that is beside the point, a one hit kill weapon shouldn’t be in the game at all. I’d rather see the cube itself be more difficult.

well the consensus seems to be:

some find them uber hard

some find them uber easy

and apparently all with the same gear.

I would recommend elite stf runners: do it on voice comms and have a plan that everyone is clear about before starting it.
So many runs fail due to lack of communication. "what the hell is he going over there for?"
or having no plan and assuming just shooting everything will work.


Try these guides for elite stfs: I havent failed one yet (missed a few optionals due to genuine human errors on a couple of runs but that happens)

I think the difficulty of the Borg is fine. There and thousands of players beating the elite missions on a regular basis. The fact that your team did not do well is not indicative that the Borg need to be nerfed.

give us NEW STF actions and stop buffing the darn borg, were bored of it and simply making it harder isnt going to keep us playing it when there is no darn point

My sister and mother were fantastic at Tetris. I have seen them get to a high enough level that the blocks become invisible. Not fast moving, mind you, actually invisible. The only way you know what you are working with is image from the Next Block window.
