This is a good one.

But remember, 2012 is the year the world ends, right?

I think it's just a sign of the things to come.

Fleetmate was just in combat and reported being HEALED by an enemy salvo of quantum torpedoes. Plasma appears to be unaffected.

It happens with Chronitons against the Borg, I thought I was just crazy. High yield or single torps do not have the effect as far as I can tell.

Sonofa...well that explains why my targeted cubes keep insta-healing!
I was really enjoying using spread too

So, wait, is this still occurring? This would certainly explain why Infected space went by a lot slower than usual.

Yes. Still happening. We actually FAILED Khitomer Accord Space just now because the probes headed for the portal were getting healed by the torp spreads being sprayed all over them.

Switching to High Yield might be the temporary solution to offset this problem, for now.

I have to admit that I have been seeing this too....But figured I was just crazy or something. Only use Quantums so dunno about other torpedoes.

Use spread too and pretty sure I had used it when I saw the impact heal.

EDIT: For those doing tests, I use MK XII Quantum (borg) and Spread 1 (And yes I don't think it happens all the time, but often enough to be noticed)

Just ran some tests with a fleet mate using quantums and copies of TorpSpread1 and TorpSpread2 and we couldn't replicate the healing, so perhaps it isn't a constant thing? Or is it a specific mark and mod of torpedo? Mark X Mark XI Mark XII, what were the special properties? This might help track down the cause of the issue.
