The red interface is retarded and unreadable. When will there be an option to change interface color? Or give the option to tune the reddish hue to not cause eye hemorrhage. If not, due to trekkie-nerd-lulz reasons, at least give the option for Orion and Gorn. Cross-species disease is not canon. Klingon species may go extinct in the 24th century, but at least the faction will have live players.

I hear you, I don't play the Klingons beacuse of the UI. Don't get me wrong, Red is the color for Klingons, but, it is too much for me. I wish I could change it as well, at least the tone of reds, yellow, etc.

I remember when the klingons had blue lcar interface and everyone demanded it be changed to be more klingon.

The hilarious thing is that red is easier on the eyes, medically, than blue. Blue colors are what wrecks your eyesight more in the long run than red.

I thought this was going to be a thread about the fact that 90% of Klingons wear eye patches.

I find the Blue of the fed UIs to be painful. Can we change that so when I do wander fedside to check on my one not-played often toon I can do so in comfort?

It is a good interface, I just wish I could change the tone of the colors. I don't want it to be a blue interface at all.

I want darker colors. That would help a lot.

EDIT: If anyone ever played Birth of the Federation, that Klingon interface was awesome! Just the right tone the reds.

I can understand the concerns of the anti-red-UI crowd, but I too came into this thread expecting it to be about the prevalence of Klingons with eye patches.

What if instead of this, the color was changed to this?
