awesome, now just post it in the general feedback section since this is not a pvp only power. (seeing as tyhere are no powers restricted to pve or pvp only any suggestions we have for power changes should be in the general section)
I tend to agree. I like the concept of these strike craft, but their power in comparison to every other hangar type is absurd in the highest. I tried them the other day on my flight deck cruiser and PVP became a joke. Unlike theta, you don't even need to land a cloud on someone, you just point, click, and they lose their shields. Can't APO and clear it, you just get drained.
They certainly seem to drain way more than they have a right to.
I was cruising through Ker'rat in my Fleet Escort earlier and came across a Flight deck cruiser, I suspect it was the guy who'd been driving the Vo'quv I chewed up minutes prior due to same fleet tags. The fact I chewed up a Vo'quv means that having problems with a tier IV (and I really had problems) flight deck cruiser 'cos it's got Tachyons is decidedly off. It's not like it's even a little bit tachyony, it's like getting hit by properly buffed tachyon beams four times, and constantly until they're cleared. Even slotting my special "annoying carrier emergency" boff that had Target Aux3 and FAW1 felt like an uphill struggle. If I ignored the drones I had no shields and got damaged enough to force a withdrawel, if I killed the drones, there were more to deal with before I could even think about engaging the flight deck cruiser that'd have otherwise been an easy target for a tier V ship. It was cheesy as hell.
Also, I'm suprised that they were launching four at a time, I thought only tier V carriers had two hangers? Or was that "just two drones" a temporary change that got unchanged? Or is there some DOFF magic that's gone over my head here?
