When i download the STO downloader i cannot run it. Even with admin rights and compatibility mode. Is there something i am doing wrong?

EDIT: Ok i got it to run but i just get "No Internet connectivity detected. Please reconnect and try again." I know for a fact that I am connected. because i can post this...

Edit#2: And i have created an exception in the firewall.

That's a fairly common issue with Pando, I'm afraid. Send in a support ticket to http://support.perfectworld.com (note: this MAY require you to make and link a PWE account to your Cryptic account), and you can also check Pando Networks' website (www.pandonetworks.com) for more info.

Are you attempting to connect from a university network? Usually, universities restrict connections in such a manner. Since Pando acts as an P2P program, it's possible that your network has blocked access for the downloader.

That would explain your issue then. Unfortunately, you're kind of stuck until an alternate method of downloading the client becomes available. Unless you have the ability to connect to a network other than the school network, that is.
