If you mean 'in general,' then.. eh, not much more than any other game trailer.
If you mean the 'watch space combat on your bridge viewscreen,' then yes: 'bullshot,' as they say in the industry. How MUCH that is misleading is debatable. Speaking for myself, if a person sees Bridge Commander style combat in the trailer, jumps into the game, and is disappointed and leaves, there's a bunch more stuff they were going to be disappointed by and leave over.

The only reason the Borg are still around is that Toshiro Mifune is still deciding which cut to use to remove the implants. From all of them. At once. Chuck Norris? Who's he?
You must not watch many MMO trailers. Go watch the DCUO trailer with the battle between Superman and Lex Luthor. Go watch the SWTOR "New Hope" trailer and tell me how much of that is in the game. Unlike movies, where the trailers are generally taken from scenes in the movie, MMO cinematics seldom have much to do with how things work in the game.
Ummm the TOR ones stated that none of what was shown resembled gameplay.... so TOR shouldn't be thrown in here as misleading haha.
sounds like the trailer for the 2800 and the certain dev that claimed it was all stuff that was in the FE and that no CGI was used. funny, I can think of at least one scene in the trailer that had to be using CGI of some sort.
I think that 'Deception' would have been a far more fitting title for the '2800' series given what was shown vs what it turned out to be.
