better off with honor guard +25% to all torpedos. As the builds above all use multiple types. Better to boost all for slightly less then 1 for slightly more.

Well oddly enough it works. I didn't have the weapons I wanted. This character was maxed out before any of that messy PVE stuff was invented.

Loaded up a Hargh' Peng, Bio Neural, Transphasic, and a Tricobalt fore. Tricobalt mine and Chroniton Torpedo aft. I did equip 3 kinetic damage consoles and the honor guard 2 piece bonus.

Only got to get in one cap and hold. Didn't bother with retraining all my BOFF's so i was using Torpedo Spread 1 and 2. And the cloak seemed to work very smoothly. The big torpedoes seemed to be shot down half the time, but its not like I have a lot of data to go on. Without being able to reliably do hull damage with this build, I wasn't killing anything very fast. A few times when there where large battles going on it was very easy to just pop in and out and just keep unloading shots. One on one it is a bit more difficult, and the lackluster damage on the shielded targets makes that a poor option.

Transphasics get a buff and this is something you could seriously try. Also if i wasn't so interested in seeing if the cloak worked I may have spent a bit more time properly timing my Spreads so that I could do 2 for each attack. But I didn't. Maybe today.

Yes a torpedo build works great with 3 x rapid fire transphasic + 1 breen cluster torp fore, rear should be chroniton torp + bio neural.

utilise the KHG torpoedo buff + 3 x kinetic dmg consoles.

I've tried this build using grav well and tykens rift and it usuall KO's most opponents on the first pass.

(optional, cloak + aceton assim or vent theta) - BUFF + Tykens Rift + Fore Torp Pass, as the cluster torps are on thier way, turn and then hit your bio neural, the point deense system will bring thier shield facing down and eventually hit (im my experience anything from 40-100k dmg for the ko)

Its fun passing the enemy cloaked and dropping an aceton assimilator or even doing a pass using vent theta. these require slightly more experience in timing, but if done right, is deadly.

I recommend looking up a player named Sasvanti, who has utilised a familiar build and often wreaks havoc in kerrat.

Guys, please try this build:

Quantum Torpedo Launcher (Use THY3!)
Hargh-Peng
Breen Cluster
Bio-Neural

The quantums strip a big chunk of the shields, while the Breen cluster finishes the shields off. Usually, the Bio-neural comes in with no shield between it and the hull. I waste dudes in Ker'rat with this build. Try it, and enjoy it.

Ok, I have decided to give this a try, it sounds so crazy

What do you think? I am going for a science BoP to utilise gravity well 3. http://www.stoacademy.com/tools/skil...otorpedoboat_0

You can kill human players just with 3 rapid loading transphasic and cluster transphasic?

For me I load 3 dual heavy cannon(disruptor) and a transphasic cluster torpedo forward.
For aft I have transphasic mine and a disruptor turret.

The strategy is to DECLOAK and fire all weapons and buffs(and gravity wells as well as tractor beam) and then launch the aft mines in face distance then getting away and cloak back.

The aft disruptor turret is for shooting incoming destructible projectile.

But if I see the enemy firepower not too overpowering I just park near or very near and keep firing everything until he go BOOM.

The firing torp on cloak is just an icing not meant anything big imo. It gives you an option to harass but never meant to give anything significant in advantage.

The Transphasics give a 20% shield penetration, so those 20% will damage the hull. Apparently they don't share a cooldown so it's just a matter of spamming them together with high yield/spread and they will do damage both to hull and shields. fire, cloak, fire cloak etc.

It might not be meant to be a big advantage, but that doesn't matter to me, all that is important is how it actually is. I will be testing this today if I have the time. I will use a Chroniton torpedo and my Bio-neural warhead in the aft, not sure yet if I am going with 4 transphasics or 3 + the breen cluster...

My build obviously concentrates on kinetic damage and defense. Since I won't be needing rapid fire any more I can make my commander a Science one and in that way access gravity well 3 as well as Tykens rift.

I will open up with GW, buff, then high yield plus spam torps. Pass him and then fire the chroniton so his turn rate goes to hell, perhaps with a torp spread. Then I turn back and torp him again, and after having passed him I use the Bio.

I am thinking of getting the vent plasma-console as well, I already have the isometric charge console which is handy when he throws destructables at me.

It will take a few tries before I can master this though, but I'll report back as soon as I am happy with the results(Or unhappy).

I'm sure it is since others will be working on the borg shields as well It should work great Imagine hitting that many torps while they are unshielded DPS I say!
