# 1 Negative resistance

If you have negative hull resistance, is incoming damage amplified, or do you just take 100% of the damage?

A good beta 3 or sensor scan/sensor analysis on that @$$ might put you into the negative resistance point spread. Im not sure how the mechanics code wise interpret that but on your end it might look like your taking on more damage .

For cereal? No one actually knows the answer to this? Finding that pretty hard to believe. Ugh...gonna actually have to test something instead of just asking smarter ppl...*sigh*

Incoming damage is multiplied. It works just like regular the regular resistance mechanics, just inverted. Diminishing returns and everything.

Thank you very much for the kind offer, but it seems like my cousin knows all that there is to possibly know already. Don't want too many cooks in the kitchen, you know.
