I Wonder if this is a way(even a small way) for them to give us the mirror universe purple look without giving us the mirror universe ships.

That would look quite nice on a Defiant! A Sovereign would look pretty ominous in it too. As for my attack ship looking 'extra dominiony', I am intrigued

this ig going to look SO good on my defiant.
but one thing bothers me, this will make any Fed ship look a lot like the mirror universe ships.

not that this will stop me but i got to say i still consider this closer to the Terran empire over the dominion

I cant seem to see much difference. All i can see is the engine on the galor nothing else, the galor looks a bit dark but that just could mean the map is dark or using a dark color scheme if they use colour picker on the galor.

Can someone say what its actually showing?

Edit - I see some purple markings on it but that again could be just the pattern and using purple in the color picker at ship customization screen.

Hmm someone mentioned mirror universe ships in a post above. This got me to thinking why did cryptic use purple as mirror universe colors when in Enterprise for example yellow was used not purple.

All I need is the shield for my Galor and then I'll have to color coordinate my uniforms.

the ships skin is different shades of purple. the galor is a distinct orange.brown http://i738.photobucket.com/albums/x...0-09-51-00.jpg

edit - you can only make minor changes to the colour from the shipyard.

Purple was used in the old Star Trek Armada games for the mirror feds and I think that's where STO is using the purple from.

Well, if people wanted a purple mirror universe look for their ship, there ya go.

Now all we need is the I.S.S. prefix.
