They use SubNuc beam and the Romulan B'rel warbirds use Viral Matrix on you.

Yea... But Subnuke dosent affect weapons cooldown, and VM only lasts for 3-5 seconds.

From NPC warbirds VM lasts 23 seconds or so. All the time, everytime. It doesn't always get to disable the weapons, but it sometimes does and it's a pain when it happens. Disable is short, just about 10 seconds or so, but it CAN feel longer...

Yeah i know that Jem'hadar use snb. That why I thought that it was related to snb in some way.As i have so far it has only happened in pvp and when fighting jem'hadar. Not noticed it in stf's and im not really a big pve guy so been a while since i fought the other species.

Ok just done some quick test against jem'hadar and snb is affecting weapon refire times.I fought one jem'hadar heavy escort with out using any abilitys. My DHC took about 4 seconds the cooldown after firing. When i was hit with snb it went up to about 7 second cooldown. So for what ever reason, for me at least, snb is altering weapon cooldowns.Has it always been that way?Thought it was only ability's that it was meant to affect, strip buffs and increase the cooldowns

Want to check before i file a bug report,no point wasting the devs time if its ment to work like that

Subnukes DO effect torps... what type of weapons are you using?

Sorry missed one of your posts... ya always effected weapons... cannons normaly have a short cool down and is almost not noticed... perhaps it got buffed by some other Cryptic fix? lol

Ok thanks for clearing that up.Just leaves finding out why my weapons go on a 30 second cool every so often in fights. Not target subsystem/Boarding party/Power drain.Guess ill just have to carry on pvping till it happens again. Thanks

Ya it could be some odd random bug... I don't know what you would report too cryptic... I am sure it would lack much they would be able to replicate. The only weps I have ever seen end up with that high a recharge where torps... honesty I don't even think that long. Normal subnuke will push em too 10-15 sec or so.
