Is anyone hoping that console is useable on other ships beside the Oddy?

I believe Geko's recent interview on STOked indicated you could only use them on the +1 Odyssey ships.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some other ship come with a WB Console you can slot on any ship, though. Geko also said the plan was to try and get out 1 new C-Store Ship each month.

So buying each new Ody and putting all 3 consoles into 1 would work? Doesn't seem right to me.

All they see is you money, nothing else.

So you can get saucer separation, aux craft and work bee on 1 ship? Also, this is why Tac Ody needs at least 4 console slots, not 3.

As I said to you in the other thread, you can't use Separation and the Aquarius at the same time, but you can use the WBs with Sep or the Aux Craft. So at any time you can have 2 of the 3 Consoles working. If you slot all 3 your using 3 Console Slots, but you get a slight Set Bonus.

As for it being right, you can currently slot 9 C-Store Consoles on any T5 ship - assuming you have 9 different Consoles. I don't see why the Odyssey should be any different then any other T5 ship.

True, true. I'm certainly not complaining. Just still bitter about why a Tactical Cruiser has more Engineering consoles than Tactical when the others have more of their respective consoles than any other. But I'm sure I'll get over that when I play it a bit.

Well, as Geko stated in the STOked interview, he doesn't really see Starfleet building "war" Cruisers. He assumes Starfleet has Escorts for heavy conflict. The Cruisers are more about exploration. So the Tac Oddy and Excelsior are the most people are going to see in that regard.

3 stacked tac consoles plus the universal lt commander should be more than enough for a tac cruiser anyways. you can't have a cruiser with the escorts dps, it would ruin PvP and make PvE too easy.

Turn radius is 1 thing but really that's a pilot issue most of the time anyways.
