I heard from someone that on the STOked episode recorded today (due to be released on Tuesday), Chris interviewed somebody who confirmed that Facility 4028 is going to become a PvP map. I didn't see the episode, but that's what I heard.
I was definitely about to suggest this! It's pretty symmetric, which would make for a good assault or CTF type game. Maybe even add prisoners as an NPC hazard... Or you could do Klingons vs. Feds, where the Feds have to activate the Holo-guards, and the Klingons have to free prisoners. First team to X amount of NPCs active at once wins (at once to account for the other team killing (tagging for prisoners, I guess) your NPCs).
As far as queues, I've found that in the last week or two I've been getting many more games than usual (which is a good thing). Maybe it's F2Pers coming up, or just more people deciding to try it out, but I've been getting matches with reasonable consistency for 4-5 days of the week. The best part is, it's not the same 8 people every time!
I haven't gotten around to doing the mission yet so I can't comment on that. I am curious about the point Mustrum has made though. With space PvP significantly more popular than ground, why would the only new PvP content (maps) be for ground?
Granted I'm assuming a lot here. Maybe they will be releasing the space map from the Gamma mission as well?
