My advice is to stop spending skill points when you reach level 49. Then when you reach 50, you have some leeway to distribute the points so they can all be spent. Otherwise, if you end up with an odd number, the only thing you can do is to respec.

I have a va that has 500 skill points left I can't seem to spend on anything and still have slip stream. Not sure what that means based on what I'm reading here, but there ya go.

It means that the people saying that you have to spend all your points are wrong. I have one VA with 500 points left as well, the Slipstream drive works anyway.

If that's the case, perhaps you just need to have 366,000 skill points earned.

I believe the issue has more to do with an established level 50 doing a free Respec after the Skill change compared to someone who's getting to 50 since Season 5. My new alts all need to spend all their points at VA to get the QS.

Thks char was started about a month ago and hit va less than than a week ago. Are you saying that if I respec I will need to spend all the points to get the drive? I think my question at this point is if the minimum point limit to spend is 500, should I put a ticket in since I am unable spend it (nothing is beyond 6 levels)? I mean, it doesn't really bother me since I'm happy with my char build and have the drive, but wouldn't mind tossing those extra points in something. No chance in hell I'm spending $4 just to spend those points though.

No. What I'm saying is that the characters which were VA prior to Season 5 might be operating differently then those post Season 5. When Season 5 came the new Skill Tree gave everyone a free Respec - and the new Skill Tree coming will also give that. There are some existing characters which did might not have spent all the points that are still getting the Slipstream. Every VA I have made post Season 5 has had to spend all the points to get it, though.

just be careful which ones you pick some of the skills go up in 1,500s and others go up in 1,000s, so you can be filling out your tree and be 500 short. thats what the others are getting at.
