Hello everyone, I came to try out this game after it became free when a friend invited me, and am loving it so far, though I haven't really gone to the forums much. This game is quite a bit of fun and I enjoy it quite a bit. I never was a huge Star Trek fan (though I was aware of the show and had seen many of the films), but that doesn't put me off at all, as a game where I get to captain a ship (that isn't EVE) is rather interesting.

I am a Kiwi though, who came to the United States for uni and never went home. Just wanted to say hi to you all, since the server's down.

Welcome to STO, you can find Romulan ale in the hidden fridge under that conveniently located desk in the corner. The password to the faux drawer facade door for fridge access is 'cat carrier'.

You can also hack the door panel using 2 multitools (depending on electronics skill) but the next cadet in line would be most displeased seeing a hacked and unusable door
