I'm having trouble figuring out how to mine on the event.

You have to pick the mission up from your "Hail fleet" screen, go to the Available tab and find that wee Ferengi lass. She will give you a mining mission for a paltry sum of XP. Go to the mining outpost, don the EVA suit and go to one of those rocky patches to mine. It's easy from thereon.

I just got back from being over at Champions, I'm a bit rusty but you can count me in on helping with some STF's or FA's. Need to setup a Romulan Temple run, thats usually a fun FA.

Please remember that being a "volunteer" is different than playing/participating in one of the events.

There are a variety of volunteer positions available. See the first post in this thread for more details.

And if you want to volunteer for an event that hasn't been posted, please suggest it to Blastem_Blaster via in-game mail, along with your availability to run it. Suggestions via the STO Forum is welcomed, too.

A downloadable Guide Book of KAW activities will be issued later this week by me. There will be high-rez and low-rez versions of the guide for users to download/reference.

Be sure to keep an eye on Blastem_Blaster's first post of this thread for updates as well.

As the countdown to "Klingon Awareness Week #2" continues, more content continues to be developed.

And with the event launch on April 1st (April Fools Day), there will be a KAW-specific space/ground combat mission for KDF TEAMS to participate in!

And, yes, there is a specific tie-in to April Fools Day -- except the Klingons aren't laughing! Honor must be upheld!

Details will be forthcoming as part of the planned downloadable Guide Book, plus other announcements via this STO Forum and STO fan sites, like StarbaseUGC.com!

Gates of Sto'vo'kor will do what we can to help this event succeed. We've got an audio announcement attached to our latest episode. Give it a listen on our website www.gatesofstovokor.com. We have another announcement that Deyvid is running during his show on Trek Radio (it's also available on our site). We've asked Risa to put it into rotation, but I have no confirmation of it at this time. We're planning to air an all new, extra special episode during the event. Look for it on our site on Tuesday April 3rd. Finally, we're doing a live discussion of the episode on Trek Radio during Deyvid's Warrior's Den -- that's April 3rd at 3pm PST.

on a personal note, I am interested in helping out during the event. I'll be glad to run some of the early missions, the sorties, and help with the STFs. However, I am not sure when I will be available as of right now. I will post some updates as it approaches.

I have a couple of Klingon Foundry missions - The Fires of Prometheus and A Klingon Honor Carol.

i will be collecting money from those who want to sponser me on my 5k marathon around Qonos. Also blankets are being collected for the less well off klingon fleets to keep them warm at night.
