The other thing is the insulators... some ppl said they tested it, and they doesnt working, but no "hard evidence" and i hope you experienced ppl can test it for us.
actually the wording was- to 75% not by 75% for the reduction.

so it went from 100% to 75% of what it was.

This is excellent data, thanks guys. I'll take another look at it when I'm back in the office next week. I'm actually out of the office right now visiting family, so no clear timeline on when it'll get looked at. But your testing outlines are going to be helpful in tracking down why the maths aren't adding up.

Thanks Borticus It may help if you try out several different power drains during testing. It has been noted that Beam Target Subsystem abilities were being lessened by power insulators, so some may show less drain, some may not.

Guys, let's not look a gift-horse in the mouth, please!

We get little enough attention in here as it is, without jumping down the throat of the odd dev that does poke their head in the door.

What powers did you test it with? As I mentioned, I haven't tested it out yet, myself. I have only provided an outline for testing power insulators ability to abate power drains.

61 down to 52 ~~ 52/61 = 0.8524590163934426
85% reduction instead of 75..

Yeah, I don't know what the threshold is.

I don't have any points spent in anything but weapon damage, resistance, defense, and subsystem powers.

I think the only points into Flow Capacitors I had was from the 2-piece Omega set (deflector dish and engines).
