Frankly carriers are annoying for PvE content....

There absence from FvF is one of the upsides of FvF... frankly be careful what you wish for. Cryptic is willing too add 3 cstore versions of a fed carrier... PvP matches will bring servers too there knees. You PvE kids will be yelling at your screen every time you get paired in a pug STF with 4 fed carriers that can't DPS there way out of a training simulation.

Again be careful what you wish for.

Fewer Carriers is better than more Carriers in my opinion. I could do without them at all except that the cat is out of the bag already. Feds don't need them and I think we'd be better off without them. If anyone wants to fly a Carrier, try it Klink side.

I do fly them klink side and they're great fun if you know how to use them.

I've levelled one Klink to l50. I can tell you now, it was an absolute pain. It's sad too, considering that what PVE missions they do have, are just plain excellent.

Considering how buggy some of the pets can be...

I actually don't care if Feds get carriers, I really don't. What bugs me is that it's a sign of resources not going to bring KDF up to snuff.

And, heck, if you really want a 'carrier,' use Boarding Party and the fighter device.

I levelled a Tac to 50 over the course of 2 weeks, playing on and off very casually.

Just doing DOFF missions while I worked on a different character's STF gear, I managed to get to L30 in a week.

Around L30 I started doing the FvK war FE series, and continued the other FEs while heavily using DOFFs.

At L50, I still have unfinished FE content to do.


It was relatively painless, and actually i enjoyed it better than my Fed Eng that I had to level from L1.

I wouldn't mind Fed carriers, but I wouldn't mind a proper Klingon expansion more. Just my two cents.

I'd love to see the Typhon-class from Star Trek: Invasion make it into the game as a Federation carrier. I would fly that all day, and it would be awesome.
