Median Salary of a Programmer in the United States: Roughly $80,000 USD. Number of programmers for a game like this? A lot. They probably dump a million or more a year, USD, into this game... I wouldn't complain about a bit of downtime to fix a serious issue.
What is difficult about the concept of paying money for a WORKING product. Come on man... I don't care what their costs are. That is THEIR responsibility to decide they set their pricing model.
I've been too busy at work to play every day as of late, so I have missed some of these crashes. But, if the explanation from PWE is accurate, then as long as they track down the root cause of the memory failures, than WTH are we all biatching about?
I call "BS" on you. You received Prototype Tech twice in 50 attempts? Right. Liar Liar Pants on Fire. The loot tables are so bad you couldn't have received 2 in 50 tries. Maybe if you said 2 in 500 we would have believed you. rofl
Guess what... I got the prototype Engine Tech on my first and only successfull atempt of Cure Elite (without optional because of time). Before that like 25 attempts with failing missions because of some noobs destroying 1 cube and letting the negh'var and Raptor from cube 2 getting to the Kang often.
30 STF-Elites later I got the prototype Shield Tech from Infected Space (you can ask my fleet members, they where with me that time)
I think players should be paid to have to view in game adverts about the loot box prizes. That's the game experience you are messing up, it should benefit the player in some way, not jerk at his mental state.
I concur, there is no way he spent 100K on this game. In an attempt not to sound like my troll self and be realistic: IF he truly spent that much money on this game, then he must have no life and is highly irresponsible with his money IMO. Now I don't believe he spent that much but seriously, busting out a number like that. Maybe in EC....
He probably took out a bank loan to buy EC from the online vendors in order to buy Master Keys from the Exchange trying to get a Galor.
