My VA is an engineer, and having looked at the bonus for the Ops variant it's no better than the Galaxy R with it's "chevron" separation. I can't afford to get all three, £32 on digital ships is waayyy too much for a broke student like myself so I can only afford the one as I've already got loads of C-points from stipend. Anyway, I was looking at the tac version and was thinking this would be a better option? Still have decent BOFF layout, but have the extra dps of the escort and another +28% phaser damage in the 3rd tactical slot.
What do you guys think? Should I go for the ops version for more tanking or the tac?
It's not +26% from one tac console, the increase in DPS is more like 7%, if you want one of the Oddys for Dmg, then the best one to get is teh Sci version as it has SA built in.
