Question for the knowledgable: New Oddy has 2500 crew, however my Hull Repair Rate caps out at 150.5% at only 1800 Crew, which is the same 150.5% I got on my Star Cruiser with 1000 Crew (With 9/9 In Starship Hull Repair)

Shouldn't I be seeing an increase in Hull Repair in the new Advanced Odyssey?

also i dont know if this is by design, the crew seems to die off quickly and recovers slowly, havent tried with med console thing but 2500 crew seems to die off pretty quick

Crew seems to die off very quickly regardless of what ship I'm flying, beit Escort or Cruiser... it might be a slight boost to help you recover more quickly from an alpha strike whilst they're there, but in any sustained firefight my shields and hull are regularly hovering near 100% as the crew count is sitting at 0%.

The result is that I generally just rely on BOFF Hull healing abilities , and ignore the passive regen rate.

seams like internal dampeners are constantly offline killing your crew with every scratching of the shields.

also it seams you lose a certain percentage of your crew and not a certain number per hit. as i get same % loss on escorts with 50 crew compared to cruisers with 2500crew. bad thing 2500 crew takes way longer to regenerate.

Yeah I've been noticing this too, hopefully a dev will be able to look at this more thoroughly, in the mean time, I've made a ticket about it, maybe you guys should as well if you haven't already.

+1 Agree on this, Think it made sense before on ships with a lower amount of crew, but it becomes more of an issue when there are 2500 crewmen dying at the drop of a hat XD Would definatly like them to take another look at this

I personally speculate the standardized Starfleet uniform all the NPC crew wear when you go to 'Visit the Bridge' is in fact made with contact-triggered plastic explosives.

It's the only way I could see having 1/2 the crew injured or killed after 30 seconds under fire.

i have an ody operations cruiser... sometimes when i port out of a mission.. e.g. borg encounter, my shields only display around 4k (normally 10k each). I do not see any debuff icon. Anyone else expirienced this? A bug..or did i just missed something?

As soon as I port then again to another instance or system the values are correct again.

The Odyssey have too many crew.

My explanation for that, is from 1200 crewmember to 2500 of full total, they are HoloCrew. That explain why when ship receip a hit, too many people die (really are holo-emiters going to offline) and the long time to recover crew is the necesary time to live crewmembers to bring all holo-emiters again online.

I think that Odyssey was a good desing with a crew of 1200. Really, 2500 isn't seem has a UFP vessel.

P.D.: I also think about crew system aboard of Odyssey is broken (since new Odysseys, before that, "standar" Odyssey was working well (I not sure, but I think that ship at begin had only 1000 crewmembers).
