This just started happening today.
Khitomer accord space fleet action, when the large ship appears,
my computer just shuts off.
Happened twice today.
Everything was fine yesterday.
Everything else in the game works fine.
It happens at the exact same spot in that fleet action.
Just cleaned my computer 2 days ago and all my temperatures are good
and voltages are stable.
Anyone else run into this problem?

Tyan tiger K8WE motherboard
2 AMD opteron 275 dual core processors
4GB DDR 400 PC3200 ECC memory.
MSI Radeon 4670 video card.
Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.

Thanks.

If your computer shuts off that sure has nothing to do with the game . I would recommend a virus scan and some hardware tests.

Could be a heat issue on your video card it does not sound like a virus problem virus would not shut off computer unless it clogs up the system too badly. When was the last time your computer got a good Air cleaning. This game make my video card heat up like crazy.Try adjusting your in game video settings too a lower settings.Video cards can only with stand 160F max.And like i said if you don't have the proper cooling with this game it will make your desktop heat up pretty quick.I would download Speccy From Ccleaner it should tell you how hot your computer is getting. If you got a Air compressor at home or a friend does Clean out every thing make sure it's unpluged i would start with the Power supply give that thing a good shot of air then the cpu and then all of the fans you have.
