The random exploration missions sometimes throw up a 'defeat several groups of enemies then face a boss' mission. I am finding the 'bosses' in these cases frustratingly difficult, surely too much so for random single player missions on NORMAL difficulty?
The problem is compounded by the fact that you have to trail all the way across the map after respawning (stopping all the time to collect confused away team members!), only to get wiped out in seconds again by the overpowered enemy at the end - any casualties you have managed to inflict have always respawned.
Please fix this - its getting to the stage where whenever I get a 'beam down against opposition' type mission during exploration I just cancel it.
Yeah I agree with this, those end bosses are a pain the the backside. if I can't beat them after a few attempts I drop the mission. A closer re-spawn point would be really helpful here. It's one of the reasons I stay away from Ground Combat. Cryptic tell us that ground combat is much improved, but I just don't see it myself.
