This built is designed for a Tactical Klingon captain with the roles focused in the following order: Tanking > DPS > Support.

I am for feedback from other whose has either tried this built or has something similar.
Of course, any suggestion on how to improve is always welcomed.

Credit to my 12th Fleet mate and Dragon (my test dumbies) :p

Ship: Bortasqu' Command Cruiser

- Sensor Analysis
- Ship Energy +20 overall (+10 Power to both Weapons & Shield)

Weapons:
x8 Disruptor Beam Array Mk XII
- Disruptor proc. is where the support part comes in
- Ship consoles and others supplements this

Ship:
Assimilated Deflector Array (Borg):
- 2-piece bonus is great for the hull, as I focus my BOFF abilities more on shields.
- I have no skill points in Inertial Dampers or Power Insulators, which this provides.
- +5 to AUX makes my heals stronger.

Klingon Honor Guard Engines:
- BEST turn rate engine for Klingon, compared with all other engines
- Hot Engine Restart is an awesome ability for both defensive and offensive
- Scaling ship energy bonus to Weapon, Shields, Aux., (doesn't provide bonus past 75)

Klingon Honor Guard Shields:
- Best defensive shields for the Klingon side
- The defensive proc. ability is -25% accuracy to opponents

The 2-piece bonus from the KHG provides Aux and protection for your crew.

Consoles:
Engineering Consoles (4 slots)
- x 2 Neutronium Alloy +XX to all dmg. resistance
- Impluse Capacitance Cell
- Plasmonic Leech Console, steal and provides +10-ish energy to all your ship's energy system

Science Consoles (2 slots)
- Field Generator, +18 to max shield
- Borg Assimilated Module

Tactical Consoles (4 slots)
- x4 Disruptor Induction Coil

Bridge Officer Layout:
Tactical 3: TT, AP:B1, AP:O1 (or APD1 for more tanking)
Tactical 2: FaW1, FaW2
Eng 1: EptA1
Eng 4: EptA1, EptS2, EptS3, AuxtSiF3
Sci 2: HE1, TS2

Bridge Officer:
x1 Klingon Borg w/ Efficient space
x3 Lethean w/ Efficient space
x1 Human w/ Leadership space

Play Style:
Tanking:
- Every 15 secs. use EptX, to add energy to either Shield and Aux. with a chance to proc. Doff.
- Hull Heal: HE (bonus from Aux), AuxtSiF3 (bonus from Aux), Borg 2-piece bonus
- Shield Heal: TS2 (bonus from Aux), EptS2, EptS3, Shield Battery (emergency)
- +Aux Borg Deflector, +Aux KHG Engines, +Aux 2-piece KHG = more resistance to XX ?
- Currently game focus on Shield Tanking more than Hull Tanking

DPS:
- Burst: Bio Neural Warhead & Disruptor Autocannon (my old setup)
- Sustain: Beam Array Broadside
- Tanking: FaW will draw multiple targets to you, all but the escort’s main target on them and APD
- Support: FaW, AP:B and Disruptor proc. will offer the dmg. resist debuff for the team.

Support: (Why EptA?)
- I used EptW for weapons energy bonus before, but no need w/ Plasmonic Leech Console
- The EptW gives a minor damage increase for only 5 seconds
- EptEngines is useless compared to EptAux
- EptAux provides Aux which means better heals and more resistance (need to verify) ?
- EptAux offers bonus to stealth and stealth sight
- Running x2 EptAux and x2 EptShield helps with the Doff procs. setup listed below

Movement:
- Is a weakness of this ship so using your movement abilities at the right time is key:
1. Attack Pattern Omega movement buff
2. Attack Pattern Alpha movement buff
3. Evasive maneuvers movement buff (Doff with -10 second reduce recharge time)
4. Impulse Capacitance Cell (Doff with -10 second reduce recharge time)
- Captain Movement Skill maxed
- Engine energy bonus gained from the Doff proc. and Plasmonic Leech Console
(The turn rate bonus gained is minor but this is a positive side effect)

Duty Officer:
1. x1 Kazan (purple): Maintenance Engineer: Add various bonus to Battery to XX
- ship has x4 Device slots so this provides bonus to many situations
2. x1 Warp Core Engineer: 20% proc. chance for power level +25, from any EptX
- with 4 abilities used every 15 seconds, there’s a real nice chance to proc. this which benefits all your systems.
3. x3 Conn. Officer: flat bonus to reduce recharge time of evasive maneuvers
- this ships weakness is movement, this help both defensive and offensive
- this has an added bonus to Impulse Capacitance Cell

Energy Level Setup w/ EptW1 and EptS2 proc. (another Eptw1 and Epts3 next rotation)

W: 120 / 90
S: 114 / 50

Energy Level Setup w/ EptX Procs. and Leech Consoles +10

W: 125 (135)

I recently got the Mark XII and redid my captain skills, and with Leech Console.

I am guessing this is for PVE......

Bridge Officer Layout:
Tactical 3: TT, AP:B, AP:O
Tactical 2: FaW1, FaW2
Eng 1: EptA1
Eng 4: EptA1, EptS2, EptS3, AuxtSiF3
Sci 2: HE, TS2

do you think the above is enough to keep you healed? This will keep you healed but not be a main healer for your team (you did say you are the tank).

Dump the impulse compacitor on the Bortasqu as they move too much like a train. (effect is nearly over by the time you start moving).

Run a second shield emitter and bring your shields over 16k per facing(OR use that second slot for your Leech)

1xNuetronium, 1xMonotanium, 1xElectroceramin(switch depending on +resist needed), 1xAssimulated Mod

F@W3 and F@W2. APD, Tact Team(twice)

F@W3 can pretty much equal the total amount of dmg your beams will do over the duration of whatever zone you are in. F@W2 is only for when 3 is down. APD for more defense as well as two Tact Teams and a subspace field mod in device slot. These will prove more useful than an offensive attack pattern because of the amount of threat F@W is going to generate.

Engineering and Science should focus solely on keeping you alive and moving (In that order). You won't have to worry about healing members of your team if you maintain the majority of the threat.

Aceton Beam 3 is what I would be using over AuxtSiF3.

I'd also run 3/4 of the borg set if you are running leech. The power boost you get from using leech with F@W out preforms any 2/3 set bonus you get from Honor Guard(save that projectile bonus)

The biggest problem you face in a bortas(qu) isn't taking a hit, it is taking a DoT while taking a hit.

Thanks for the reply and reviewing my built.

PVE first and for fun PVP

I have been able to tank Cure Space Elite and Infected Space Elite tactical cube at the end, under their sustained fire.

Good point, I was thinking about another armor, but I always go back and forth.
The defensive boost and the movement bonus saved my life many times.

I agree, more shields will be awesome, but I just feel odd that this might be broken? /shurg
I heard STOked is going to ask the devs if this is broken in their next show.

F@W3 is not what I am looking for because it replace AP:O. I believe F@W2 w/ APO dmg. bonus (and it comes with other utility as well) achieves close to the same effect as F@W3. I really like your idea of using APD, and plan to test it out. I do not use the two TT because of an awesome key-binding that rotates my shields. After testing: AP did increase my ability to tank, thank you!

AuxSIF3 (IMO) is one of the best hull heal resistance ability in the game, and it is enhanced by my high Aux.

What helps this ship tank is the crew size, and the 2-piece KHG provides crew protection bonus, and also the +Aux, helps with the 3 heals I have tied into it. Can you go into more details as which 3 borg set items to use? By default, I am using the Borg Deflector and Console.

Interesting point and I agree, while taking heavy fire from the Borg Cube in Cure Space Elite, I can take damage for a long time, however after the Raptor/Neghvar pops, it really starts to hurt. My only way around this is to tank them on the side without taking the sustain fire from the cube.

Thanks for the feedback!

There is a DOff that reduces the CD on all your BOff abilities, have you thought of using this one?
I unfortunately do not know the name off the top of my head. (but I can revisit this thread later and supply it)

Roach I believe that is the Technician, the catch is it's not quite true. His brief description says he lowers all cooldowns. His in depth description where you click the "i" information tag mentions it only happens when you use Aux2Bat. This is all from Memory but. Otherwise using 4 purple of those guys would be 100% reduction in BOFF powers and be super super overpowered.

I like the build and I can't wait to hear how it goes after some testing, and don't forget Deterium is a fantastic Device which I run on all my ships as a spare Evasive Manuvers is always handy to have.

I'll parse your setup and see what it does.

EDIT: Cure Elite Space - 4.6k dps/zone 9.3kdps/boss. Puts out roughly the same dps as what I was parsing.

True, but the OP uses EPtsA in his build so may gain the benefit for using the http://www.stowiki.org/Specialization:_Technician
