Yeah, I was expecting spider trees, which are bad enough.

I'm not generally bothered by spiders, but that first video is the STUFF OF NIGHTMARES. I'd buy a new house and start over.

The third one I could probably handle, especially with the trusty Egon at my side!

The other two not so much. I'm in training. Girls seem to like guys who don't run away from bugs, so...
My first instinct when coming up to ones that large is to yell FUS-RO-DAH!!

I tend to treat spiders fairly. If they allow themselves to be caught they get thrown out the house and live. If they resist they get squashed. The size of some of them though a bit of googling would be in order first though to see what they eat, eat meat they will just get squashed/skewered out of hand.

Biggest one we have had so far is no more than 1.5inches so very much a different league to these suckers. I do think though the first one wasnt a real spider.

IFRC all spiders eat meat. they eject acid into what they are eating and after a few minuets they slurp it up through there fangs.

Pretty much. There's only one spider that eats plants, and it's small enough that if one was in your house you probably wouldn't even realize it.

If I told you the size of some of the spiders that we get up here you would probably not believe me!

I usually try and catch them if I can, and put them out. Some of them are just such a big size, I tend to think of them more as a small animal, with a life to live, rather than a creepy crawley to be squished.

I'm not afraid of spiders at all. The things in those videos, however, scare the **** out of me.
