To put it simply, people are ridiculously exaggerating this situation. There are only NINE doff contacts being added to ship interiors:

Quote:
  • Science Officer
  • Engineer
  • Operations Officer
  • Doctor
  • Tactical Officer
  • Bartender
  • Chef
  • Counselor (Federation)
  • Brig Officer (KDF)
  • Federation Envoy (Federation)
  • Marauder (KDF)
Oh, and guess what? 2 of them are being removed:

That means there are only going to be SEVEN people you meet with inside your ship. Anyone who claims that it is unrealistic for a ship captain to meet with SEVEN people inside their ship is just being ridiculous.

This is AWESOME! I can't wait to get in game and check out the new missions. I'm very happy to have something to do while on my ship. I hope to see more things like this come down the pipe.

You guys rock!! Nice addition. I think I spend more time on my ship interior than anyone and it was getting a little lonely.

I have decided to call them all to my readyroom so that I don't have to walk down the corridors of my ship and have the rest of the officers ignore me.

I think this is a great addition to ship interiors and can't wait to give it a try Random officers now or DOs later, either way, it's a way to make me care more about the interior of my ships

Question!

Will the Galor also have the same fully functional interior as any other ship? The reason I ask is because all the Galor has for interior is a bridge. No trophy room or anything.

Unless I'm missing something.

Thanks for this. You've taken your first step into a larger universe. I look forward to the day when my Boff medical officer will actually visit the sick bay but this is a very positive step in the right direction.
