# 1 Is Subsystem Repair Useful?

Im just about finished my new build and can put 6000 points somewhere. Im thinking of either maxing out Projectiles or putting 4 points into Subsystem Repair. What do you guys think I should do with the extra points?

Im using Polaron weapons to compliment Tyken's Rift, subsystem targeting and Siphon energy.

At the risk of being absolutely useless, I have no clue.

My current main is an engineer with 5 levels in subsystem repair (+74), and when you include Leadership I believe that comes out to +94. I can say that MOST of the time (not all) things like phaser procs are cleared so quickly I literally do not even notice. I wouldn't mind hearing from others on their experience on this, especially as a comparison to someone who has left it unspec'd and doesn't have Leadership.
