I'm running all MK XII Tetryons on a SCI ship (Bellerophon Class) and had a realization. People in general stack their defense against PLASMA and nobody thinks twice about defending against tetryons. So, they tend to have no major resistance to it.

as a support weapon they are awesome i used to use them on a brel BOP and use them with someone with ant protons or phasers and you will never loose

have 2 characters that run tetryons, both have dual forward torps, strips shields fast and torps hit hull.
galor cruiser, 2x dbb fore, 4x turrets aft. bortas 1x dhc + 1x dc fore, 4 turrets aft
the bort just shreds shields when rapid fire is active

Wow, so flow capacitors affects tetryon shield stripping? I had no idea...

Might need to boost my escort's flow capacitors.

I love the Tetryons on my escort Retrofit. I have dual beams up front, dual cannon and dual heavy cannon with a torp launcher. Aft i have all turrets. Gawd this thing is a flying minigun!! With my tac officers running scatter 3 an rapid fire i can chew most targets ready for a heavy torpe!do 3 to finish them!

I have a tetryon cannon armed Excelsior.

The only downside is that the whole ship now smells a little like subspace. =3

People aren't so much stacking their defense against Plasma but the top shields in the game have a native Plasma resist.

i dont stack resists against anything. Let me have it
