I'm guessing Tactical is the most used, Science is the least used?

would that be correct?

It really depends on the player. I would assume new people tend to pick Tac most, though - just based on the idea that they think it's more powerful from its name - and that Science is, likewise, picked least, also based on on the name and what people might think it does in play.

Yes. A sad case, really, for you see, that player has been diagnosed with Turrets Syndrome.

Most likely. I think the average person sees tactical's description as a damage dealer and doesn't bother with the others.

I have one of each career on both factions, and I find I like my tacs the least.

I'm willing to bet Engineer. Cruisers are the most iconic ships, but they don't seem as wildly popular in PvE and PvP as science and tactical are.

I must have been one of the only one hear to have my federation character as Science and be more of a healer and my CO BOFF is the Tactical.

However my KDF (Who seems to be weaker in strength and space battles) is the tactical officer

for me it comes down to color. Command officers wear red. (at least on the fed side) so I run a Tac.

Of course you can let an Engineer or Science officer wear red.

Except before TNG, when everyone wore Red jackets and Command wore White collars, and before the Wrath of Khan, where Command wore Blue-Grey or White, or Beige on away missions, with White patches, and before TMP when Command wore Green, or Gold (or more accurately, Green that photographed Gold).
