I've read through Husanak's thread on beginner escorts for PvP and didn't see this brought up. I'm curious of this is worth putting in the device slot (since defense buffing seems to be very important) or if I should save that slot for something else like an aux battery from that extra umph when shield buffing. Thanks ahead of time.

its comparable to like attack pattern delta 2. Not necessarily a game changer but its handy.

Sort of what I was figuring, but thought I would ask. Love the sig, by the way.

Indeed I never mentioned it. I keep one on every ship I have... keep it for when your shields are completely bingo and you have some time before another shield heal. I have almost always had it slotted and unitl recently with all the faw glider junk almost never used it. I find myself using it more of late.

Indeed though a very nice defense boost for the cost of one device slot is worth it for sure.

I use it when possible. my old toon, used APD2 and the modulator. I'd often use them together. my new main uses auxed up polarized hull. (I need to get my subspace field mod on this new toon) can't wait to use it, with my auxed up PHs.

Greetings,

The Subspace Field Modulator can be ##### ## ### #####, ########## #o#s.
You should ###### have it ##### ### ###########. When in doubt ignore all #######

Enjoy.

lol dagger.

also, the thing mav thew out there...about an aux'd up polarize hull.....i love that combo. been using it for months and have mentioned it in several threads. 125 aux PH1 = +60. that is nothing to sleep on, especially vs hazzard emitters 1 on an escort. hello locked in go down fighting!

i usually run the red matter capacitor and an aux batt for that reason....along with delta 1 and brace for impact rotating with that PH1 you get a good hull hardening rotation going. but the field modulator could easily replace one of those, and work within your build.

have fun kill bad guys!

sb mod was first in the line of "wtf is this *****" that the enemy used and significantly cuts into your alpha power. one of many defensive buffs you should wait for to clear before attacking. luckily it cant be activated under stun and has a high recharge timer, so its usefulness isnt that great

polarize hull should only defend against energy like when the gam came out. horribly lame abuse of this skill existed in the worst times when tac buffs bug modded the res. its**** in comparison, but still sohuldnt affect kin res

It was so much cooler when you could activate a bunch of them at a time and make your ship almost disappear! I used to RP that I was caught in a subspace rift.
