Also hint your toon skills aside from the obvious bridge officer abilities will make the improvement from the set bonus to matter more or less.

There's little to gain if say ur Odyssey toon didn't already invest in decent hull plating and armor skills.

The little bonus would seem too little to matter but if however ur toon is built around strenghtening your ship hull then the set bonus will matter. It;s about focusing. The set gives you only that edge so you need already to have decent skill points on them to make that edge edgier/counts.

or another way of saying it the ship doesn't adapt to your preferences but you need to adapt to it.

or buy the ships that suit your style and preferences.

As much as you might dislike them, even a normal retail won't always take something back because you "didn't like it". Virtual items are just going to be harder, tbh.

You have it, so do some investigating to find out how to best use it. It's really a great ship, but if you don't take up the challenge that it presents..... you're missing the point of playing.

Also they fixed the pet AI so the deployable escort could be more effective now.

OP is one of the players I met in my first STO fleet. He's not bad at all and I'm sure he'll find some use for the Odysseys someday.

While i appreciate the attention from you all telling me tough luck and i should have tested it on tribble let me remind you of something, PWE accounts don't have access to tribble. Also I didn't make this post to argue with you all made an in game ticket also and if i had a phone number for the billing department i'd be on the phone with them. What i'm saying is very simple its my opinion that I was cheated with those 3 uselsss ships and they will refund my Cpoints or they will never see another dime of my money for anything ever again, and thats just flat out how it is.

If you don't like the game because you feel they slighted you in some fashion, then I say stop your complaining and uninstall the game.

Buying items through the dilithium exchange is still spending money on virtual items.

They usually do. Especially if you ask to speak to a manager. And don't back down.

The OP deserves a refund. They are not the first customer of Cryptic's to deserve a refund. They won't be the last. But the absolutely deserve a refund. They would have to return the item, but I think they'd be OK with that. If Cryptic cared even just the slightest about their long-term customer relationship building process, they'd give the OP the refund. Because then, players like the OP might play the game longer and purchase from the c-store again. Instead of dislike the game, stop playing and never go back to the c-store that "cheated" them.
