Be thankful, my Science ship using a Science Bridge have a Akira.

Do science ships dream of being Heavy Escorts?

The prospect of dual-wielding DHCs into glorious battle, ahh...

The Prometheus bridges are modern bridges.

What I did with mine was use one of the Prometheus bridges with the simple rails when I had the T3, then 'upgraded' the bridge to one with the 'station rails' when I had my T5, as if the bridge it had been refit with the rest of the ship.

Back when I played before F2P there was a third party application that would allow you to swap the MSD display on any bridge. You can also do it manually by renaming some of the files but I'm not exactly sure how.

Look up MSD swap on google, you'll probably find something.

As do I. Blaze (I think?) is the particular one I use.

Is modding in this fashion permitted? Most of the rest of my PC gaming is with the Total War series, and I mod those fairly extensively, but I'm always cautious with a new title, and especially an online one. I don't want to get up getting slapped with a ban for modding a bridge texture! >_<

Yes, the Prometheus 'Blaze' bridge is the closest bridge that looks similar to the excelsior bridge in Star Trek VI.

I too also use that bridge for my Excelsior. I just think it is one damn fine ship.

I may be out on a limb here, but I would love to get a TWOK-style Miranda-class bridge!
