I have commanded the USS Odyssey since the day it was first launched in the game. It is slower than ever. In all this time, the ship has never been this slow. It is so slow that the shields are being torn to shreds. I cannot move fast enough to protect my shields. What is going on? Why is the Odyssey class so slow now. I am getting ripped apart by Bird of Preys. It's embarrasing. What have you done to the most powerful ships in Starfleet.

Are we talking about an Advanced Odyssey? Or the free prototype Odyssey?

U are using RSP? there is your problem, the said is a "cosmetic issue", but DO affect gameplay, after use RSP u ship is useless, can't turn. I had to remove RSP from my tact

p.d: RSP = Reverse Shield Polarity

100% with you!!! I feel the same, something is wrong with the last patch...my Tactic odyssey is very strange now... i have reported the bug with the reverse shield polarity cause he moves flat, but its not only that...

I think that you dont have a Odyssey...so its not only a RSP problem, the Odyssey now turn flat he have a slower fire rate, moves slower, fire distance in automatic is only 8km or so....they changed something volontary or not

The Odyssey always had turn rate 6 and high inertia, the only thing they updated was giving it the same crew complement as the C-Store versions, 2500, instead of 1000.

The flat turning bug has messed up (the perception) of movement in most cruisers, and quite a few science, and even escorts. It is supposed to be fixed next patch.

I have loved my Oddy but the new changes have turned it into a flying brick and I hate using it now, the flat turning feels truly terrible. It drives more like a truck, just needs the reversing warning and hazard lights.

I really hope this is a bug or I'm going to have to go back to using my Excelsior.

The fix to the drunk Borg Cube issue causes some ships to turn like cars instead of banking like planes and spaceships when certain conditions are met.

This officially declared 'cosmetic only' bug impacts quite a few ships.
There seem to be more powers than just RSP that cause all affected ship types to turn much slower than before. And any player or npc on the current map using those powers trigger the bug.
